Forgiveness

Today I want to try something a little difference. Here are two articles I found this morning around the theme of forgiveness.

Article 1: http://www.redletterchristians.org/bill-pelke-wants-the-best-for-his-grandmothers-killer-paula-cooper/

To me, this speaks of the very real change God can work in our lives when we let Him. My unchanged self would never be able to live with that kind of forgivness and compassion. I hope that if I faced a circumstance like this, that I would be able to live out the grace given to me.

Article 2: http://www.redletterchristians.org/riley-cooper-is-he-good-enough-for-a-second-chance-yes-and-ill-tell-you-why/

God’s forgiveness is not conditional, yet ours so often is. Though it is not what we are called to do, we evaluate the circumstances, and the merits of the person we are considering forgiving. Is that what you’d like God to do when you confess your sins?
